Sam Houston Race Park is the place for Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred racing.  It also hosts special outdoor events like Cirque Du Soleil.

Directions to Sam Houston Race Park:

Exit Sam Houston Parkway at Fallbrook/Windfern and stay on access road for about a mile and a half. Enter from access road, or stay on access road and take a right on Gessner, left on Fallbrook.

Exit Sam Houston Parkway at Windfern/Fallbrook and make a u-turn under the overpass. Stay on eastbound access road for just under a mile, or turn left under the overpass to stay on Gessner. Turn left on Fallbrook.

Exit Sam Houston Parkway at 249 and stay on access road; pass 249. Take a left on Fairbanks North Houston, right on Fallbrook.
